Growing company in the telecom industry is seeking a Warehouse Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. This position includes ordering materials, requesting pricing from vendors, shipping/receiving and assisting with management of fleet vehicles. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook email. Salary range is $45-52K depending on experience. Please submit resume for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
– Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
– Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies
– Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
– Manage fleet of vehicles for efficient transportation and delivery of goods
– Collaborate with dispatching team to schedule and coordinate shipments
– Maintain accurate records of inventory, including cycle counts and physical inventories
– Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a warehouse distribution environment
– Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, materials management, and order fulfillment processes
– Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems
– Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
– Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
– Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
– Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 – $52,000.00 per year
