P & C Agent (part-time)

We are seeking a licensed professional to manage our P & C agency, who preferably has two years of P&C experience. This is a part-time position – 32 hours/week with flexible schedule available and with compensation that is commensurate to experience. Major holidays off with pay and 2 weeks paid vacation per year after first six months of employment. Benefits are not offered. Responsibilities:

  • Resolve client inquiries
  • Expand business reach through networking techniques
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Answer phones as needed and return calls to existing clients
  • Quote Insurance Rates/Policies

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of previous P&C experience is preferred
  • Customer Service experience and other related fields are a plus!
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
